17 Palestinians killed in Gaza since dawn

Israeli forces have killed at least 17 Palestinians in Gaza since dawn today, Al Jazeera reports.

Israeli aircraft struck a residential building in southwestern Gaza, killing 10 people. Mahmoud Bassal, a representative of Gaza’s Civil Defense, said Israeli helicopters also hit an apartment in the city’s western area, resulting in three more deaths and multiple injuries.

Since October 2023, Israeli military operations in Gaza have reportedly killed more than 63,557 Palestinians and injured 160,660, though numerous sources indicate the actual figures are likely significantly higher.
