Abraham Gasparyan: What are Aliyev and Pashinyan terrified of

Russia seems to be getting to the end of the military
operations against NATO’s neo-colonialism in Ukraine and, in the face of
opposition from many sides, shifts the balance of power in Eurasia and the
Greater Middle East. Director of Genesis Armenia Think Tank and Foundation,
Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor Abraham Gasparyan made a
Facebook post on this.

“Azerbaijan and the marionette authorities of Armenia
are terribly afraid of the Russian resistance and the possibility of its
retaliation,” he wrote.

According to Abraham Gasparyan, Nikol Pashinyan, Erdoğan,
Aliyev and the collective West pursue one end: the Republic of Armenia must
renounce its claim to the Soviet heritage of Artsakh.

“This will allow them to get rid of the status issue,
to eliminate the possibility of keeping Artsakh as an Armenian political entity
and to turn Armenia into a toothless, impotent failed city-state with the
territory of 10,000 square kilometers under the Treaty of Alexandropol, under
the Turkish ethnic dominance, with heavy reparations imposed on it and
belittled for decades,” the expert wrote.

He noted that the show put on by the “newborn
crusaders” in Yerevan’s Republic Square and in Kornidzor, the circus act
of trucks (most probably empty) carrying humanitarian aid, the protests and
marches in Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan’s speeches aping and flattering Nikol are
mere evidence of the fact that the West is going to move the new front of
anti-Russian war from Ukraine to our region.

“The authorities of Artsakh must stop aping Nikol. If
they do not stop of their own accord, we must make them stop. This time, as
well, the fighting spirit for preserving our identity will come from
Artsakh,” Gasparyan wrote.
