Moscow awaiting Trump’s reciprocal visit, says Zakharova

Russia’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova has confirmed that Moscow is expecting a return visit from U.S. President Donald Trump, RBC reports. The invitation was officially sent following the summit held in Alaska.

Zakharova noted that the initiative came from Russian President Vladimir Putin, who formally invited his American counterpart. As for the timing, she noted that the matter falls within the purview of the two presidents’ administrations.
