One of the Armenian churches of Kars is the target of Turkish thieves

Thieves looted a 150-year-old Armenian church located in the
eastern part of Turkey, in Kars, Ermenihaber reports.

According to Ermenihaber, the church of the Uchler quarter
facing the Castle of Kars is on the verge of collapse. This is because thieves
even demolished the walls of the church to achieve their goal.

According to the locals, back then, archeologists examined
the church. Besides, it was used by the locals as a barn.

“If the church is not taken under protection right
away, it will collapse,” one of the locals said.
