Steven Seagal considers himself Russian
American actor Steven Seagal described himself as Russian following the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum, TASS reports.
“I don’t work with the United States. I am Russian,” Seagal told reporters when asked about dialogue between Moscow and Washington.
Seagal also gave a highly positive assessment of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s speech at the forum.
The star of “Under Siege”, “Out for Justice”, and “On Deadly Ground” has held Russian citizenship since 2016.
On May 30, 2024, Putin awarded him the Order of Friendship “for his significant contribution to the development of international cultural and humanitarian cooperation.”
