Iran ready to resume nuclear talks with US on conditions of ‘justice and mutual respect’
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has announced that Tehran is ready to restart nuclear talks with the United States once the U.S. administration is ready for dialogue based on the principles of “justice and mutual respect,” Iranian media reported.
Speaking at the National Conference on Investment Opportunities in Iran’s Free and Commercial Zones, Araghchi stated that talks with European countries are under way, while communication with Washington currently takes place indirectly through mediators in the form of letter exchanges.
“The day the Americans realize they are ready for negotiations grounded in justice and mutual respect, we will also be ready to begin,” the minister stated.
He added that following attacks by the United States and Israel, Iran suspended its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), but the two sides are now working to develop a new model for collaboration.
