Aggression inside Poland’s borders

Poland has described the appearance of drones in its airspace as an “act of aggression” from Russia. Some facilities were damaged, and airspace over parts of the country, including Warsaw Chopin Airport, was temporarily closed due to the incident.

Poland immediately appealed to NATO to invoke Article 4 of the North Atlantic Treaty, which calls for consultations among member states.
