Former Mayor of Yerevan Hayk Marutyan announced his decision
to run for the Yerevan Council of Elders elections. Marutyan posted a Facebook
video on this.
“I would like to announce that I will run for the
Yerevan Council of Elders elections scheduled for Sept. 17,” Marutyan
said. He added that his team does not have financial resources, “personal
oligarchs” or administrative resources at its disposal. However, they are
sure that together with citizens they will be able to achieve success.
