‘Zangezur Corridor’ construction 95% complete, says Azerbaijani media

Ninety-five percent of the construction of the Horadiz–Jabrayil–Zangilan–Aghband road (Zangezur Corridor) has been completed, Azerbaijani media reports.

The total length of the project is 149.9 km, of which 123.6 km constitutes the main road. According to Azerbaijani media, the project is being built in accordance with modern standards and high-quality requirements.

The road’s technical category is 1B, which allows for high-speed and safe traffic.

The main features of the road are:

• Road width: 14–21 meters
• Width of the roadbed: 21.5–29.5 meters
• Number of traffic lanes: 4–6.
