Trump files $15B lawsuit against The New York Times
U.S. President Donald Trump announced on social media that he has filed a lawsuit against The New York Times in the state of Florida.
“Today, I have the Great Honor of bringing a $15 Billion Dollar Defamation and Libel Lawsuit against The New York Times, one of the worst and most degenerate newspapers in the History of our Country, becoming a virtual “mouthpiece” for the Radical Left Democrat Party,” Trump wrote.
According to the U.S. president, the newspaper has spread lies about him, his family, his business and the American nation for decades. Trump also cited the newspaper’s support for presidential candidate Kamala Harris, which was announced “on the front page.” He called it “the single largest illegal Campaign contribution, EVER.”
