Turkey’s intelligence agency chief meets Syrian leader

Ibrahim Kalin, head of Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT), met with Syria’s interim president, Ahmed al-Sharaa, during a visit to the country, Turkish media report.

The meeting covered bilateral relations, regional security, the fight against terrorist groups, border security, the economic situation, and the voluntary return of Syrian refugees.

According to reports, Kalin expressed Turkey’s readiness to provide maximum support to the Syrian government.
