North Korea says it has acquired ‘secret weapon’, says Kim Jong Un
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un announced that the country has “acquired a secret weapon” as part of efforts to strengthen its defense capabilities, the Korean Central News Agency quoted him as saying, TASS reports.
Kim said the state and the party are committed to the continuous, rapid development of the country’s defensive capacities.
He recalled the construction of new mine-layers — which he called “the first significant step toward creating a maritime power” — along with the “steady strengthening of strategic forces” and improvements in the mass production performance of weapons.
“In addition, we have acquired a new secret weapon. Significant achievements have been made in the field of defense science and research that will greatly contribute to a sharp increase in combat capability,” Kim said.
