US denies visa to Iranian president’s son for New York trip

Ahead of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s planned visit to New York, U.S. authorities have refused visas to most members of his media team, Iranian media report.

According to Fars News, none of the president’s photographers or videographers were allowed to join the trip. Only Habib Abbas, the president’s Director of Public Relations, and his deputy were granted visas.

As noted, Pezeshkian’s son was denied a visa as well.
