Advocate Ara Zohrabyan and Chairman of the Chamber of
Advocates of Artsakh filed a class action against Nikol Pashinyan. Ara
Zohrabyan said this today at the press conference. According to Zohrabyan, they
find the prime minister’s position on the Artsakh issue unacceptable.
“Nikol Pashinyan has stated several times that he
recognizes Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan. None of his statements were in the interests
of the Armenian nation. Thus, we came up with the idea of raising the issue of
legal protection. Time will tell whether this is an effective move. Chairman of
the Chamber of Advocates of Artsakh Erik Beglaryan and I have filed a class
action over the claim to recognize the actions of the prime minister as
unlawful and the elimination of consequences following from them,”
Zohrabyan stated.
According to the advocate, the lawsuit will be filed against
Pashinyan, so that he will take responsibility for his statements that
jeopardize Armenian interests.
