Explosions and attacks reported on Gaza-bound aid flotilla

The Global Sumud flotilla has reported explosions and communications jamming as drones hovered overhead, early on Wednesday morning, Al Jazeera writes.

Israel has promised to stop the Gaza-bound Flotilla, claiming that the vessels are trying to “breach a lawful naval blockade”.

The leaders of the naval group note that in the last 24 hours, 13 explosions have been recorded on and near ships, objects have been thrown from drones at at least 10 ships, and communications have been deliberately disrupted.

The organizers described the attacks as acts of war and crimes against humanity.

The flotilla has called on all U.N. member states to address the attacks and adopt a resolution to protect its mission.
