US ready for long-term investments in South Caucasus

The Caspian region—including the South Caucasus and Central Asia—remains a key focus of U.S. foreign policy and strategy, Caleb Orr, Senior Adviser to the U.S. Deputy Secretary of State, said at the 6th Caspian Business Forum in New York.

“This is not a short-term, but a long-term interest, and the United States views it as strategically important to invest in and develop over the coming years,” Orr said.
