Unclear points remain in peace deal

Some aspects of the peace agreement remain unclear and have yet to be discussed, Iran’s Ambassador to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani said at a press conference today.

“During bilateral meetings and talks, I can say that some of those issues have been resolved,” the ambassador noted.

“What I can clearly state is that the Armenian authorities have firmly stated they will not take any steps that go against the interests of the two countries,” he added.

Sobhani underlined that there is mutual understanding between the governments of Iran and Armenia.
