Turkey to continue buying profitable goods from Russia, says Peskov
Russian Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said Turkey will continue trading certain goods with Russia if it is profitable for them.
The comments came as U.S. President Donald Trump suggested that Turkey would stop buying Russian gas.
“TurkStream is operating at full capacity. Blue Stream is operating at full capacity. We continue our trade and economic cooperation with the Republic of Turkey. It is a sovereign state that decides for itself in which sectors to cooperate with us. And if trading certain goods is profitable for the Turkish side, they will continue to do so,” the Kremlin spokesperson said.
