EAEU suspends fuel import duties until July 2026
The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has abolished import duties on gasoline for vehicles, aviation fuel, diesel, marine fuel, and other types of motor fuel within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) until June 30, 2026, Interfax reports, citing the EEC’s trade department.
“The decision was made to maintain balance in the domestic motor fuel market amid seasonal demand growth and a decline in local production volumes,” EEC Commissioner for Trade Andrey Slepnev said.
The measure will take effect 10 days after its official publication.
