The arrest of Former Commander of the Third Army Corps,
Major general Grigory Khachaturov is in the interests of the authorities and
Nikol Pashinyan, in particular. Advocate of Grigory Khachaturov Mihran
Poghosyan said this to journalists.
According to the advocate, the reason for this is that
Khachaturov is perceived as someone who can put up resistance.
As Poghosyan noted, the authorities are afraid that
Khachaturov may prevent them from concluding agreements that do not serve the
RA interests.
According to the advocate, this case was brought up against
