Elon Musk says Mars is part of US

In an X post, American billionaire Elon Musk did not rule out the possibility of living and dying on Mars.

“I hold one passport now & forever: America. I will live & die here. Or Mars (part of America),” Musk wrote.

However, Musk did not clarify what he meant by saying that Mars is part of America.

In April 2024, Musk stated that colonizing Mars would require at least one million people and several million tons of cargo, which he believes could be transported to the Red Planet over 20 years. According to the entrepreneur, the Mars colonization project would be carried out using the Starship 3 rocket, currently the newest model in the series.
