Baku thanks UK for support in relations with Armenia

Azerbaijan has expressed gratitude to the United Kingdom for its consistent support in the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan, Azerbaijani Ambassador to the U.K. Elin Suleymanov said in an X post.

“The strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom opens new opportunities for our entire region,” the diplomat noted.

Suleymanov’s post came following his meeting with British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper and Stephen Doughty, Minister of State for Europe, North America and Overseas Territories.
