Russian airstrike in Ukraine kills 5 and damages energy infrastructure

A massive Russian airstrike in Ukraine has killed at least five people and damaged civilian infrastructure, including energy facilities, Reuters reports, citing officials.

A residential building collapsed in the Lviv region, near the Polish border, killing four members of a family. Only the foundations of the residential building remain. The fifth victim was in another region. An industrial park burned down in the capital of the Lviv region and power was cut off in parts of the city, Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said, urging residents to stay indoors as authorities put out several fires.

The attack on Lviv was the largest of the war on the Lviv region, said governor Maksym Kozytskyi, adding it involved 140 drones and 23 missiles.
