Trump to supply Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, but he has questions
U․S․ President Donald Trump said he has already made a decision to supply Ukraine with Tomahawk cruise missiles, but wants to understand how Kyiv intends to use them, Reuters reports.
“I think I want to find out what they’re doing with them․ Where are they sending them? I guess I’d have to ask that question,” Trump told reporters at the White House, responding to a question about the Tomahawk missiles.
At the same time, the U.S. president said he does not want to see an escalation of the conflict in Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin recently stated that it would be impossible for Ukraine’s armed forces to use Tomahawk missiles without the involvement of American military personnel. In any case, he warned, Russia would respond to aggressive actions.
