
Body of one of trapped climbers found on Mount Everest
The body of one of nearly 1,000 climbers trapped on Mount Everest has been found on the mountain’s eastern slope at an altitude of 4,900 meters. The climber reportedly died from a lack of oxygen and hypothermia.
About 350 people have been rescued so far. Contact has been established with another 200 climbers who are alive, and rescue teams are working to evacuate them.
Most of the climbers are Chinese nationals.
