Greta Thunberg and 170 Global Sumud Flotilla activists deported from Israel to Greece and Slovakia

Swedish activist Greta Thunberg and 170 other members of the Global Sumud Flotilla have been deported from Israel to Greece and Slovakia, Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

The flotilla was carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza, but Israel blocked its passage, detaining 450 activists, including Thunberg.

Representatives of the flotilla’s activists have stated that they plan to file a complaint with the U.N. regarding the ill-treatment of those detained.
