Ending war in Ukraine more difficult than achieving peace in Gaza, says Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump has said that efforts to end the Russia–Ukraine war are more difficult than achieving peace over Gaza, the BBC writes.

“Negotiations with Vladimir Putin are more difficult than expected,” Trump said during a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

“This is madness. I thought this would be one of the easiest solutions,” he added.

At the same time, Trump noted that a peace agreement on Gaza is already nearing completion.
