Trump believes US will eventually address situation with Russia

U.S. President Donald Trump said he believes the United States will eventually reach an agreement with Russia on the war in Ukraine, Kommersant writes.

“I think we will eventually resolve the situation with Russia,” he said.

Trump made the remark while discussing the possibility of receiving the Nobel Peace Prize.

“We have resolved seven wars. We’re close to resolving the eighth one [the conflict in Gaza],” the U.S. president said.

Trump has repeatedly expressed his desire to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, saying no one in history has resolved as many conflicts as he has. However, he suggested that “they might find a reason not to give it to me.”
