Goods sold at prices above maximum to be seized and sold at a fixed price by Artsakh government decision
By the July 26 decision of the Government of Artsakh,
persons who violate the law about the maximum price for goods set by the
government will incur an administrative penalty. Moreover, to rule out the
possibility of further violations by them, the goods to be sold will be seized
and sold to the population by a government agency at affordable prices, Artsakh
State Minister Gurgen Nersisyan reports.
“We will not accept the excuses about high selling prices
set by farmers, either. Just don’t buy these goods if they are sold at high
prices. We are starting this process today, and I will monitor it personally.
After we handle the situation in Artsakh, everything that took place during the
blockade will be considered, and those who orchestrated it all will have to
take moral and legal responsibility. And let no one call this into doubt, and
let no one think that they go unnoticed,” the state minister wrote.
