Clashes erupt on Afghanistan-Pakistan border

The Pakistani army has launched attacks on terrorist positions inside Afghanistan in response to assaults on Pakistani checkpoints in the Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Tolo News reports, citing Pakistan’s armed forces.

According to the report, gunfire can be heard from a distance as both sides are using heavy weaponry.

Daily Pakistan also reported that the Pakistani military struck terrorist positions in Afghanistan following the attack on the Kurram district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
