Witkoff denies reports of his resignation

U.S. President Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff has denied claims published in an article by Middle East Eye suggesting that he was going to resign.

“This story is 100% Fake News and should be immediately retracted. I often wonder where these so-called “reporters” come up with such laughable nonsense,” Witkoff wrote on X.

He stated that he is more deeply involved in the peace process than ever and continues to work within the Trump administration.
