Sahiba Gafarova on meeting with Alen Simonyan in Geneva

Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament, spoke about her meeting with her Armenian counterpart, Alen Simonyan, in Geneva.

According to Azerbaijani media, Gafarova stated at today’s parliamentary session that the meeting was the third within the framework of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

“During the meeting, the importance of the work carried out to implement the agreements reached at the Washington summit was emphasized,” Gafarova said.

The meeting between Simonyan and Gafarova took place on Oct. 21 in Geneva.
