Turkish flag raised at Armenia-Turkey border

Residents of the village of İncedere in Kars have fulfilled a long-held dream by raising the Turkish flag at the country’s border with Armenia, Turkish media report.

The flag has been installed at an altitude of approximately 2,500 meters.

A lighting system was later added to ensure the flag is visible even at night, including from the Armenian side, the reports say.
