
World’s oldest president re-elected for another term
Cameroon’s 92-year-old president, Paul Biya, has been re-elected for an eighth term, The Guardian reports, citing the election results.
According to the information, the African leader received 53.66% of the votes. As a result, Biya will remain in power until the age of 99.
The Cameroonian leader is the world’s oldest president and has been in office for 43 years.
