It is a great shame to leave 120,000 Armenians to starve. Open the route: Larisa Alaverdyan to the UN

Protest actions in support of Artsakh continue in Yerevan.
During the action outside the U.N. Office in Armenia, the first Human Rights
Defender (Ombudsman) Larisa Alaverdyan called on the international organization
to ensure an overland or air route for providing Artsakh with food supplies.

She noted that they do not ask the international community
for food. The only thing they want from them is the route.

“Today the Armenians of Artsakh are left to starve not
only by Azerbaijan but also by the international community that keeps silent.
The people of Artsakh defend the honor and preserve the dignity of the Armenian
nation. Suffering deprivations, they prove that the highest value in life is
human dignity. And European officials want to destroy this very dignity. It is
a great shame to leave 120,000 Armenians, including 30,000 children, to
starve,” Alaverdyan said.
