Moscow values Putin‑Aliyev Tajikistan meeting outcomes, says Peskov
During a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Russian President Vladimir Putin raised the issue of Russian IT specialists arrested in Baku on drug‑smuggling charges, TASS reports, citing Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.
“Currently, intensive work is underway, and the president raised all these sensitive issues. We continue our dialogue,” Peskov said.
He stated that Moscow values the outcomes of the meeting between the two presidents in Tajikistan.
“This was a very important meeting for turning a new page in our bilateral relations,” the Kremlin spokesperson added.
