Lithuania closes border with Belarus for 1 month

The Lithuanian authorities are completely closing the border with neighboring Belarus for one month. The decision was made during a meeting of the Lithuanian government, TASS reports.

“The safety of our citizens is the government’s unquestionable priority; therefore, it is necessary to close the border with Belarus, which poses certain threats,” Lithuanian PM Inga Ruginienė said during the meeting.
