Vitaly Balasanyan charged with 4 articles; Advocate files a complaint with the Court of Appeal
Former Secretary of Artsakh Security Council, Hero of
Artsakh Vitaly Balasanyan is charged with four articles of the Criminal Code of
Artsakh.
His advocate Rafayel Martirosyan told ABC Media that
Balasanyan doesn’t plead guilty to the charge.
“He is charged with Article 185, Article 245, Article
337 and Article 279 of the Criminal Code of Artsakh, that is theft of property,
illegal carrying of weapons and ammunition, committing violence not dangerous
for life or health, against a representative of authorities, and keeping
narcotic drugs,” the advocate said.
Martirsoyan said that they have filed a complaint with the
Court of Appeal about the decision of the First Instance Court.
Balasanyan was arrested on July 14. Three days later, on
July 17, the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Artsakh rejected
the motion to arrest Vitaly Balasanyan. He was released.
