Prepare for war: World leaders talk nuclear testing
Following U.S. President Donald Trump’s statements on nuclear testing, former National Security Advisor Gen. Michael Flynn warned that war is inevitable.
“Changes in policies and objectives can alter the nature and conduct of war. And when political goals become more limited and unthinkable, war becomes inevitable. Tie your boots tight, soldiers,” Flynn wrote on his social media page. Tighten your boot straps troopers,” Flynn wrote on X.
Yesterday evening, the American leader announced that he had ordered nuclear weapons tests to be conducted “on an equal footing” with other countries that allegedly have such programs. He noted that the U.S. has nuclear testing sites and that further details about the tests will be announced later.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia is aware that certain countries are planning to conduct nuclear tests and that if this happens, Moscow will respond in kind.
