Pakistan and Afghanistan agree to maintain ceasefire for another week

Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to extend a ceasefire for at least another week, Al Jazeera writes, citing Turkey’s foreign ministry.

The sides plan to meet again at a higher-level gathering in Istanbul on Nov. 6 to finalize how the ceasefire will be implemented.

Earlier this month, clashes occurred on the border of the two states.
