Obama slams Trump saying ‘it feels like Halloween every day’ with no candy

Speaking at an event for Democratic supporters in New Jersey, former U.S. President Barack Obama said the country is experiencing “dark times” due to the policies of Donald Trump.

According to Obama, the current administration sows chaos and lawlessness daily, while humorous videos and stunts distract the public from real issues such as inflation, declining incomes, and a worsening quality of life.

Obama also accused Trump of abusing his presidential powers, urging Democrats to push back against his policies.

“It feels like Halloween every day, and there’s no candy,” Obama said, in response to reports of immigration raids on Halloween night in Chicago and Los Angeles.
