Azerbaijan exports military equipment to multiple countries, says Aliyev

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has announced that many Azerbaijani companies will soon produce high-quality, world-class military equipment.

“The state is also working in this direction, and we are already significantly expanding our military capabilities through domestic production, largely meeting our own needs. We are already exporting military equipment to multiple countries,” Aliyev said, without specifying which countries.

Earlier, Ukraine’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuri Gusev met with Vugar Suleymanov, head of Azerbaijan’s mine action agency. During the meeting, the sides discussed the main areas of cooperation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan in humanitarian demining.

The diplomat noted that an agreement had been reached on future practical steps to deepen cooperation in this sector.

Additionally, according to media reports, Azerbaijan has delivered MiG-29 fighter jets to the Ukrainian Air Force.
