Iran’s ambassador says Azerbaijan’s victory in war has created new opportunities for cooperation with Tehran 

Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian’s visits to Azerbaijan have produced significant results in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mojtaba Demirchilou said during his visit to Nakhijevan.

According to the ambassador, the Iranian president has visited Azerbaijan twice over the past several months.

“As a result of these visits and meetings, many positive agreements have been reached, and the relations have become even stronger. These agreements concern both economic and political cooperation,” he noted.

The diplomat stated that Azerbaijan’s victory in the war has created new opportunities for the development of bilateral cooperation between Baku and Tehran.

He also highlighted that Nakhijevan holds a special place in the relations between the two countries.
