Russia’s Security Council secretary Shoigu to hold separate meetings with counterparts from Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Belarus
As part of the 13th meeting of the CIS Security Council Secretaries, Russia’s Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu will hold separate bilateral talks with his counterparts from Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Belarus, TASS reports.
The meeting will take place on Nov. 5 in Moscow, under Shoigu’s chairmanship. Participants are expected to discuss security challenges and threats within the CIS, as well as potential joint response measures.
Shoigu stated that the gathering of the Security Council secretaries represents “a truly unique format of communication based on trust, which allows us not only to discuss the most complex security issues openly and constructively, but also to jointly develop solutions to protect our countries and peoples from external and internal threats — grounded in the solid foundation of our shared traditional values.”
