Ukraine captures Azerbaijani man fighting for Russia
Footage circulating online shows an Azerbaijani man captured by Ukrainian forces during the Russia-Ukraine war. The man identified himself as Shahmar Orajanzade from Lenkoran, Azerbaijani media reports.
The man stated that he had previously served a sentence in Russia for a crime, after which he was sent to the war zone. He admitted that he had fought for money but later voluntarily surrendered to the Ukrainian side, urging others not to repeat his mistakes.
