The British Embassy in Yerevan makes a statement on ICRC
activities in the South Caucasus
“The International Committee of the Red Cross has for many
years carried out crucially important work in the South Caucasus, including
along the Lachin Corridor, where their operations help support the local
population obtain access to essential goods and services, including life-saving
medication and health care.
The UK government strongly supports the activities and
continued work of the ICRC. The UK calls on all parties to refrain from the
politicization of humanitarian assistance,” reads the statement.
