Trump pardons his former lawyer Giuliani and others in 2020 election interference case

U.S. President Donald Trump has signed an executive order granting pardons to dozens of individuals accused of interfering in the 2020 U.S. elections. Among them are Trump’s former lawyer and former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani and former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, The Sun reports.

These individuals are accused of attempting to obstruct the 2020 presidential election. Specifically, after the election, Giuliani claimed that widespread election fraud had occurred in favor of the Democrats. Giuliani’s law license had been suspended.
