Yerevan Council of Elders election date announced

Yerevan Council of Elders elections are scheduled for Sept.
17. Until then, a number of political forces have already officially announced
their participation in the elections. Among them are Tigran Avinyan, Mane
Tandilyan, Natalia Rotenberg, Ruben Hakhverdyan. There is no lack of candidates
contending for the office of the Mayor of Yerevan. 

Several political forces, namely the Hayrenik (Homeland)
party, have considered the possibility, but have not made a final decision yet.
They think that it is too early to talk about it.
