Peskov says sooner or later Ukraine will have to negotiate, but from much worse positions

The Ukrainian side must understand that sooner or later it will be forced to negotiate, but already from much weaker positions, which will continue to deteriorate day by day, said Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, commenting on Kyiv’s statement about suspending negotiations.

On Nov. 12, The Times published an interview with Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister Serhii Kyslytsia, where he spoke about the suspension of talks between Moscow and Kyiv. He noted that the parties had failed to achieve significant progress after the meetings.
