Yerevan Council of Elders elections scheduled for Sept. 17

The next Yerevan Council of Elders elections are scheduled
for Sept. 17. The government affirmed the decision in today’s session.

The latest Yerevan Council of Elders elections took place on
Sept. 23, 2018.

To remind, as of now, only the Civil Contract (KP) party has
announced its participation in the elections. They will put up Tigran Avinyan
as their candidate. 

Among those who have expressed a desire to participate in
the elections are businessman Tigran Arzakantsyan’s wife Natalia Rotenberg,
representative of the Bright Armenia party Davit Khazhakyan, Mane Tandilyan
from the Country of Living party, Karen Sargsyan from the European Party of
Armenia, former Head of the administrative district of Kentron Viktor
Mnatsakanyan, Hayk Grigoryan from the National Progress party, Yervand
Tarverdyan from the United Armenia party.
